In 2021 I was invited to participate in This-Cover, an ongoing creative initiative where animators from all over the world are selected to animate their favourite album covers, which are then uploaded to an AR platform so people everywhere can scan their records and see the animations in display. For my cover, I chose Flying Lotus's “Cosmogramma”, an album that marked a special time of my young life as it opened my mind to a whole new world of music and art. I was particularly inspired by his animated video for the track "Zodiac Sh*t", made by Lilfuchs

Thiscover is a project born from the passion for music and album covers that marked — and keep marking — the history of music and everyone’s imaginary.
The result can be seen in augmented reality thanks to ARIA - the AR platform app, simply framing the album with the smartphone.
Thiscover is a project in continuous evolution and open to all music-loving designers who want to contribute with their own animations.
